Millom Infant School
Every child a learner, we all learn together
School dinners
School Dinners are served in the School Dinner Hall. The dinners are made onsite and offer good healthy choices. The children are supervised by four Mid-day Supervisors.
From September 2014, all infant children have received a free school meal provided by the school. However, school receives grant funding in the form of pupil premium for all children registered for free school meals. Children are entitled to free meals if their parents are receiving Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, an income-related employment and support allowance or Child Tax Credit not exceeding the financial year’s qualifying criteria (but not Working Tax Credit). If your child is eligible to receive a free school meal then they may also be eligible to receive the clothing grant. Further information can be obtained from the Education Office or the School Secretary.
All children who currently receive free school meals and clothing grants do not need to apply each year.
