Due to the power cut last week, some of our kitchen equipment has been affected and is temporarily out of service. Until this is looked at we have had a change about with the schoool dinner for this week only. On Friday the only option is a filled bun. Please could you let your child's teacher know what they would like in it.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Today we have no Internet connection at school. We are having this looked into but it may just mean there is a delay getting the Newsletters out. Please keep checking the Website and Dojo for up to date information. Thanks
School will be open as normal tomorrow, Friday 4th November. Thanks
Many of our families joined us on Friday 27th May for a garden party to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Thankfully the weather stayed fine and everyone had a lovely time.
On Tuesday 26th April, a team of 8 children from Year 2 joined in a football tournament at Broughton School. The children behaved exceptionally and were fantastic representatives for the school. They thoroughly enjoyed the event and expressed great sportsmenship.
We would like to thank the parents for transporting and Mr Seward for his coaching.
Smarties Tube Penny Challenge
Today your child will have come home with a tube of smarties. If at all possible, please can you refill the tube with coins and return back to school. We are raising money for our school fund. Thank You.
We are holding a competition to name our school mascot.
Entry forms will be handed out on Friday 21st January and Mrs Hughes will announce the name on Friday 28th January's newsletter.
Each class has their own mascot (smaller version) which is involved in many of the daily activities and children may refer to often.
Our school mascot has been named: Merlin
Thank you to everyone who entered the competition. There were some fantastic entries! The winning name was chosen by Amara Schofield and picked at random by Mrs Hughes.
On Wednesday 15th December the children are participating in a Reindeer run. They will run or walk 5 laps of the daily mile track.
